As a general guideline, most standard LTL pricing is designed for shipments using 48” x 40” pallets, up to 6 pallets, 12 linear feet, or approximately 10,000 lbs. Some carriers may impose stricter limits and only allow 3–4 pallets before volume or capacity pricing applies.
